About the Role:
The incumbent for the Factories is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions at the Dahej manufacturing plant. This role is critical in supporting the operational goals of the factory by attracting, developing, and retaining a high-performing workforce, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive and productive work setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR in a manufacturing or industrial setting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of employees, from shop floor to senior management. The incumbent is expected to help Sigachi become an “Employer of Choice”.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• HR Policy & Compliance: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives and applicable labor laws and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, EPF, ESI, Minimum Wages Act).



Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and ensure factory operations are always compliant. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements. Prepare and submit necessary HR reports to government agencies as required.

• Employee Relations & Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution. Conduct thorough investigations and provide guidance to management on appropriate disciplinary measures, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policy and legal requirements. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through various employee engagement initiatives. Advise management on performance management issues, including performance improvement plans and terminations.
