About the Role
BuildAmbit is looking for a Business Development Associate (BDA) to join our Online Degree Counselling team.
The role involves engaging with prospective students, understanding their educational and career goals, counselling them on suitable online degree programs, and helping them make informed decisions about their higher education journey.
The ideal candidate should be a solid communicator, comfortable speaking with students and working in a target-oriented environment, with a genuine interest in counselling and education.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective students through inbound and outbound calls and understand their educational and career requirements.
Counsel students and working professionals on suitable online degree programs based on their goals, eligibility, and interests.
Explain program structure, curriculum, eligibility, fees, admission process,



and other relevant details clearly.
Understand student concerns, address objections, and provide appropriate solutions.
Follow up consistently with prospective students throughout the counselling and admission journey.
Maintain accurate lead information, follow-ups, and activity updates in the CRM.
Achieve defined daily, monthly, and quarterly counselling and conversion targets.
Work closely with the admissions and operations teams to ensure a smooth enrolment experience.
Maintain a high-quality student experience while achieving business and conversion objectives.
Stay updated on online degree programs, university offerings, eligibility criteria, and industry trends.
What We're Looking For
1 to 3 years of experience in inside sales, education counselling, admissions, tele-counselling, or business development.
Freshers with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn are welcome.
