Role Description The Medical Coding Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. The trainer will deliver structured classroom and practical sessions in medical coding, ensuring learners understand key coding guidelines, medical terminology, and healthcare documentation standards.



Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, creating training materials and assessments, conducting lectures and workshops, and providing individual feedback and mentoring to learners. The Trainer will assess learner performance, maintain training records, collaborate with other faculty on curriculum updates, and stay current with evolving coding standards and regulations. The role may also involve supporting placement preparation through interview coaching and skill development activities.
Qualifications

Solid medical coding foundation, including Medical Coding and Coding Experience across relevant coding systems (e.g., ICD, CPT, HCPCS).
Background in Health Information Management, with understanding of healthcare documentation, records management, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Medical Terminology to interpret clinical documentation and teach learners accurate code assignment.
