Role Summary
We are hiring an Enterprise Sales role – Acquisition for our Chennai location. This is a hunting-first role focused on identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new enterprise clients for Onextel's CPaaS solutions (Voice, SMS, WhatsApp Business API, RCS, Email APIs, etc.). Post-acquisition, the same individual will own the client relationship — driving onboarding, adoption, retention, and account growth. Candidates must come from the CPaaS / cloud communications / A2P messaging industry, with a proven record of new-client hunting.
Key Responsibilities
New client acquisition (Hunting): Identify, prospect, and generate current business opportunities across target industries in and around Chennai / South India.




Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and market mapping of prospective CPaaS clients.
Own the complete sales cycle — lead generation, solution pitching, commercial negotiation, contracting, and deal closure.
Understand client use cases (OTP/authentication, transactional & promotional messaging, WhatsApp Business API, voice solutions, RCS, etc.) and position the right Onextel product mix.
Work closely with pre-sales, product, and technical teams to prepare proposals, RFP responses, and solution demonstrations.
Post-acquisition : Serve as the single point of contact for onboarded clients, ensuring smooth implementation and go-live.
Drive account growth through upselling and cross-selling additional CPaaS products/channels within existing accounts.
