Team Overview

Our Hosting team manages and supports the infrastructure of all our platforms, from hardware to software, to operating systems to PowerSchool products. This team-oriented team helps meet the needs of an evolving technology and business model with a specialized focus on protecting customer data and keeping information secure.

Job Purpose:

This position, under the general direction of the Manager or Technical Lead, Cloud Operations, will be responsible for supporting cloud customers and be responsible, at varying levels, for software installations and configuration, continuous systems analysis, technical customer support,



and systems administration for the SaaS server technologies used in a multi-cloud environment.

Description

Responsibilities

A Cloud Operations engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services. They ensure the availability, performance, and security of cloud-based applications and resources while monitoring and responding to incidents and issues. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, automation, and best practices.

Your day-to-day job will consist of:

Execute ticket triage, investigation and resolution of reported incidents

Troubleshoot application issues and engage Customer Support as needed to identify and resolve the issue

Troubleshoots problems with user accounts and application access

Perform daily system administration tasks to verify that all systems are up and running
