Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) – Degree Programs will drive student enrollments for online/hybrid degree programs by leading a team of sales counselors, managing the end-to-end admission funnel, and building partnerships to generate quality leads. This role requires strong consultative selling skills, target-driven execution, and the ability to guide prospective students through a high-consideration purchase decision (degree enrollment).

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Target Achievement
- Own and drive monthly/quarterly enrollment targets for assigned degree programs




- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize conversion across the admission funnel (lead → counseling → enrollment)
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data (conversion rates, drop-offs, cycle time) to identify improvement areas

2. Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of sales counselors/telecallers to achieve individual and team targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews, call audits, and coaching sessions to improve counseling quality
- Set daily/weekly targets and monitor team productivity through CRM and dashboards

3. Lead Management & Counseling
- Ensure timely follow-up and nurturing of leads generated through digital marketing, referrals, and walk-ins
- Personally counsel high-value or escalated prospective students on program details, fee structure, and career outcomes
- Address student/parent queries regarding curriculum, accreditation, placement support, and payment options

4. Admission Process & Documentation
