Job Overview:
Credit Risk Review (CRR) provides independent, objective, reliable, valued and timely assurance to the Boards, the Committees, the Citigroup Chief Risk Officer (“Citigroup CRO”), Citibank CRO, senior management and regulators over the effectiveness of credit risk management and the ability of the Business and independent Risk Management to identify, monitor and mitigate current and emerging risks across Citigroup and Citibank.
The Credit Risk Review Senior Group Manager is responsible for leading a team of professional credit reviewers (including C14 Senior Lead Reviewers, C13 Credit Reviewer, and Analysts) and independently managing all aspects of assigned Review Entities. Responsibilities include execution of Business Monitoring and Reviews in accordance with the CRR Manual,
monitoring and evaluation of portfolios, strategies, and credit risks, assessment of the effectiveness of credit risk management of assigned businesses, proposal of pragmatic solutions to risk and control issues, and maintaining ongoing contact with a Review Entity’s senior management through continuous Business Monitoring and corrective action follow-up where applicable. The role also incorporates leading the team in the effective use of Citi-approved AI-enabled tools to enhance analytical depth, streamline review execution, and strengthen trend identification while maintaining full reviewer judgment.
