Convert approved furniture designs and site measurements into accurate, factory-ready production information.
The person will be responsible for ensuring that every cabinet component can be cut, edge-banded, machined, assembled and installed correctly without production-floor interpretation or rework.
This is a hands-on factory-detailing position. It is not a rendering, styling, sales-design or client-presentation role.
Key responsibilities
- Convert approved kitchen, wardrobe and modular-furniture designs into manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare component-wise cutting lists with:
- Finished dimensions
- Cutting dimensions
- Material and board thickness
- Quantity
- Grain direction
- Edge-banding sides
- Generate edge-band schedules, hardware BOMs and machining instructions.
- Account for grooves, shutters, drawer clearances, back panels, skirting, fillers, profiles and installation tolerances.
- Generate or verify CNC nesting and machine-ready production files.
- Build,
maintain and validate the company’s parametric product library in the design-to-manufacturing software.
- Ensure consistency between drawings, cut-lists, BOMs and production files.
- Check site dimensions and identify manufacturing or installation risks before production release.
- Maintain drawing numbers, revision records and approved production versions.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, site installation and design teams.
- Check the output of junior CAD designers and provide technical guidance.
- Support the Production Head in meeting the standard delivery cycle.
- Investigate detailing errors and implement preventive corrections in the product library.
Mandatory qualifications
- 3-6 years of hands-on modular-furniture or kitchen production-detailing experience.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with at least one cabinet-manufacturing platform such as:
- IMOS
- Cabinet Vision
- Polyboard
- TopSolid
- Corpus
- Homag software
- Equivalent design-to-manufa
