_Job Description: Server Administrator_

- About the Role_
- Key ResponsibilitiesServer Health Monitoring & Maintenance_
- _Monitor CPU, memory, and disk space utilization across servers; proactively identify and resolve resource bottlenecks_
- _Perform disk cleanup and removal of unnecessary files to maintain optimal storage availability_
- _Review Windows Event Logs to identify errors, warnings, and security-relevant events_
- _Track server availability and uptime; respond promptly to outages or degraded performance_
- _Perform server restarts/reboots as part of maintenance or incident resolution_
- _Administer and monitor IIS, including Application Pool management (recycling, configuration, troubleshooting)_
- Application & Server Log Review_
- _Monitor Scheduled Tasks and troubleshoot failures_
- _Monitor and troubleshoot Syncovery jobs_
- _Monitor backup jobs, including transfers between servers/locations,



and verify backup integrity_
- _Manage backup retention and cleanup policies, including S3 backup management and deletion of expired backups per retention policy_
- _Monitor SQL Server services and review SQL Server error logs_
- _Monitor Match jobs and SQL Server backup jobs_
- _Monitor database disk space and perform Query Store analysis_
- _Perform routine database maintenance, including index fragmentation monitoring and remediation_
- _Lead or support production incident troubleshooting and resolution_
- User & Server Access / Permission Management_
- _Install and configure server software and components as required_
- _Maintain and update server configurations to align with operational and security standards_
- _Provision and configure recent servers as needed_
