Minimum Qualification:

- Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design activities from concept generation and feasibility studies to detailed engineering and release for manufacturing.
- Create and validate 3D CAD models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using Siemens NX (UG NX); ensure models meet GD&T; and engineering standards.
- Generate BOMs, part specifications, and tolerance stacks; coordinate with procurement and vendors to source components and processes.




- Manage product data and engineering change processes using PLM tools (part creation, ECOs/ECRs, revision control, release workflows).
- Interface with cross-functional teams (R&D;, manufacturing, QA, supply chain, and vendors) to resolve design-for-manufacture issues and support production launches.
- Perform FEA validation (or coordinate with CAE), prototype development support, design verification & testing.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, improve manufacturability and shorten product development cycles.
- Prepare technical documentation, assembly instructions and support manufacturing troubleshooting and perform root-cause analysis when required.
