Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and grade diamonds based on quality and characteristics.
- Evaluate cut, colour, clarity, and carat of diamonds.
- Check jewellery for quality, finishing, and workmanship.
- Identify natural, treated, synthetic, and imitation stones.
- Evaluate diamonds and gemstones used in jewellery.
- Ensure jewellery and stones meet required quality standards.
- Identify defects, quality issues, and inconsistencies.
- Maintain accurate grading and inspection records.
- Coordinate with production, sourcing, and quality teams.
- Provide recommendations on quality and grading.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency during the grading process.
Required Skills:
- 4-9 years of experience in Diamond Grading / Jewellery Grading.
- Strong knowledge of diamond quality and grading.
- Good understanding of the 4Cs - Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat.
- Knowledge of gemstones and jewellery materials.
- Ability to identify treated, synthetic, and imitation stones.
- Good understanding of jewellery workmanship and finishing.
- Robust attention to detail and observation skills.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
