Key Responsibilities
- Teach Tabla and Keyboard to students as per the school's music curriculum.
- Conduct regular practical music classes and instrument training sessions.
- Train students for school assemblies, annual functions, cultural programs, and inter-school competitions.
- Develop students' rhythm, coordination, timing, and musical skills.
- Plan and conduct practice sessions for individual students and groups.
- Encourage students to participate in music-related extracurricular activities.
- Maintain and ensure proper care of musical instruments and music room equipment.
- Assess student progress and provide regular feedback for improvement.
- Coordinate with school management for music events and cultural celebrations.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning setting during music classes.
- Support other school events and activities whenever required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (Degree/Diploma in Music preferred).
- 1-3 years of experience as a Music Teacher or Music Instructor.
- Solid practical knowledge of Tabla and Keyboard is mandatory.:
- Ability to teach students of different age groups.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for music education and student development.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a CBSE school or educational institution.
- Ability to prepare students for stage performances and competitions.
- Knowledge of devotional, patriotic, and cultural songs will be an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of music notation and rhythm training.
