The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, inventory accounting, statutory compliance support, export documentation, banking coordination, factory administration, and management reporting. The role requires close coordination with internal departments, vendors, factory personnel, transporters, banks, and external consultants to ensure accurate financial records and smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Operations & Bookkeeping
- Record all day-to-day financial transactions in the accounting software.
- Enter purchase invoices, expense bills, and journal vouchers.
- Maintain petty cash receipts and payments.
- Record accounting entries for inward and outward material transactions.
- Verify vendor invoices before accounting entry.
- Coordinate with vendors for invoice corrections and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Process administrative and factory-related expenses.
- Prepare and circulate payment advice.
- Maintain proper filing of accounting vouchers, bills, and supporting documents.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Maintain daily stock-in-hand records.
- Record daily inward and outward material transactions.
- Perform daily stock reconciliation and physical stock tally.
- Coordinate with the Factory In-charge for stock verification.
- Maintain stock-related documentation and records.
- Report stock shortages, mismatches, or discrepancies to management.
GST, TDS & Statutory Compliance
- Prepare GST data for return filing.
- Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for timely GST return filing.
- Prepare TDS working and coordinate TDS return filing.
- Maintain statutory challans and compliance records.
- Generate and maintain E-Way Bills.
- Verify transport bills, challans, and related statutory documentation.
