Senior Accountant - Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation, payroll-related accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including AP, AR, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and review GST returns, TDS returns, and related statutory compliances.
- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly closing reports, MIS, and financial statements.
- Verify vendor invoices, purchase bills, expense claims, and payment requests.
- Monitor receivables, payables, advances, and outstanding balances.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and maintain supporting records.
- Assist in budgeting, cash-flow management, and financial analysis.




- Ensure compliance with applicable GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and take corrective action.
- Support management with financial reports and other accounting-related requirements.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting principles.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP.
- Experience in reconciliation, taxation, and monthly closing.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to independently manage accounting activities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or industrial project companies will be preferred.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
