Responsible for managing and supervising day-to-day soft services operations within the manufacturing facility, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, employee welfare, and service quality across production areas, offices, common areas, canteen, washrooms, external areas, and other designated locations.
2. Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Hygiene
Supervise daily housekeeping activities across the manufacturing facility.
Ensure cleaning schedules, checklists, SOPs and work instructions are followed.
Monitor cleanliness of production support areas, offices, washrooms, corridors, canteen, parking and common areas.
Plan and monitor periodic/deep cleaning activities.
Ensure correct usage and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Conduct daily floor inspections and close identified housekeeping gaps.
Manpower Management
Monitor daily attendance, deployment and shift-wise manpower.
Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower coverage.
Conduct daily toolbox talks/briefings for housekeeping staff.
Monitor grooming, discipline, PPE compliance and staff performance.
Coordinate replacement manpower for absenteeism.
Waste Management
Ensure proper segregation, collection, storage and disposal of waste.
Monitor general, recyclable and other facility-generated waste as applicable.
Maintain waste records and coordinate with authorized vendors.
