As the Head of Product Strategy & Planning you will be a part of the Emerging Mobility Buisness Unit (EMBU) and will report to the Chief Business Officer, EMBU.In this role, you will be responsible for defining the long-term product vision, product roadmap and strategic positioning of our EV portfolio at VIDA. You will bridge the gap between market research, consumer insights, technological capabilities (battery, powertrain, software) and business goals (P&L;) to build the next generation of electric vehicles. You will lead the global product planning team to ensure our products are competitive, profitable and desired by the consumer. A purpose driven role for you
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:1. Strategic Product Planning & Roadmap Development: ● Define the 3-5 year product portfolio strategy and vision, aligned with company goals and market trends. ● Develop a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features, variants, and new platform launches. ● Analyze market trends,



competitor activities, and regulatory changes (subsidies, compliance) to identify growth opportunities. 2. Consumer Insights and Product Definition: ● Translate consumer research and pain points into actionable functional and technical product requirements. ● Define the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) for new products and variants. ● Oversee Product Concept Development through Proof of Concepts (POC) and consumer validation/clinics. 3. Business Case & P&L; Responsibility: ● Build strong business cases for recent product developments, including volume forecasting, pricing strategy, and cost structures. ● Take responsibility for the Product P&L; (profit and loss) across the product lifecycle. ● Manage the "Design-to-Value" approach to build design to cost 4.
