nReinsurance Placement & Business Development (Facultative/Treaty) from Emerging & Developing countries (eg. Africa, Nepal, Bhutan, Latin America, Bangladesh, Erstwhile CIS countries etc.)

nRole overview:
nWe are hiring a relationship-led reinsurance skilled to originate and place facultative and/or treaty businesses from developing and emerging markets. This role is hands-on in market engagement, negotiation, and placement execution.

- Build and maintain active relationships with insurers, reinsurers, and MGAs to generate placement opportunities and secure capacity.n
- Drive end-to-end execution of facultative and/or treaty placements including market approach, negotiation, and closure.n
- Lead commercial discussions with multiple markets across regions,



especially where placements require creativity, speed, and relationship leverage.n
- Business development & revenue ownershipn
- Consistently develop pipeline through solid market reach and ongoing reinsurer/MGA engagement.n
- Support broader growth by identifying new placement partners and expanding into new territories/segments within emerging markets.n
- Ensure placements are clearly documented, with agreed terms captured in placing documents/slips and aligned to the specific reinsurer terms and conditions (including preparing separate placing documents where required).n
- Confirm and document the client’s agreement to any differing terms as part of placement execution.n
- Maintain strong discipline around key slip/contract details (e.g., parties, period, type of reinsurance, perils, limits, terms/clauses, brokerage, sanctions exclusion where applicable). n
