Responsibilities
- Assist with construction layout surveys and topographic surveys to support engineering and construction teams
- Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS systems, and 3D scanners to collect accurate field data
- Support utility locating efforts to identify underground infrastructure and ensure secure excavation practices




- Conduct land surveys including ALTA (American Land Title Association) surveys and legal description documentation
- Perform data collection using GIS (Geographic Information Systems), LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging), and other CAD software tools like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, Carlson, and ArcGIS
- Aid in drafting schematics, construction staking, and layout plans for various projects
- Maintain detailed records of field measurements, survey data, and equipment logs while adhering to safety protocols

Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of math including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and topographic principles
- Familiarity with surveying techniques such as total station operation, GPS surveying (including Trimble GNSS systems), construction layout surveys, and field data collection methods
