Job Description Networking/Infrastructure Engineer N We need an experienced engineer to support the development and lifecycle management of a medical device computing platform comprising: N Key Responsibilities Nn Design, integrate, and maintain infrastructure solutions across server, storage, networking, virtualisation, and operating system domains. N Support hardware refreshes, OS upgrades, firmware updates, and infrastructure lifecycle activities. N Configure and troubleshoot NAS, network switches, UPS devices, and Windows-based platforms. N Assess technical impacts of infrastructure changes and support verification activities. N Contributeto cybersecurity hardening, patch management, monitoring, and system reliability improvements. N Produce technical documentation, design artefacts, impact assessments, and implementation plans. Nn Essential Skills N

- Infrastructure troubleshooting and root cause analysis N Desirable Skills Nn Medical device, aerospace, Defence, rail, or other regulated industry experience N Cybersecurity technologies and hardening practices N Requirements management and verification activities N Familiarity with design control, risk management, and change control processes Nn IdealCandidate N A hands-on engineer capable of owning infrastructure work packages end-to-end, including design, implementation, verification, and technical documentation. The candidate should be comfortable working across multiple technologies rather than specializing in a single domain. N n PreferredExperience: 8+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering within enterprise or regulated environments.
