The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate programs by delivering high-quality education, conducting impactful research, and mentoring students in the rapidly evolving fields of robotics, automation, intelligent systems, and control engineering.Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching and Curriculum DevelopmentTeach undergraduate courses in Robotics, Control Systems, Automation, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Industrial Automation, Sensors and Actuators, and related subjects.Develop and continuously update course materials, laboratory manuals, assignments, and assessment strategies in line with Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and NEP guidelines.Design interdisciplinary laboratory experiments integrating robotics hardware, simulation tools, and embedded platforms.Mentor undergraduate and postgraduate projects, internships, and capstone design activities.Research and InnovationConduct high-quality research in areas such as:Robotics and Autonomous SystemsControl SystemsIntelligent and Adaptive ControlIndustrial AutomationMechatronicsEmbedded SystemsArtificial Intelligence for RoboticsComputer VisionHuman-Robot InteractionInternet of Things (IoT)



for AutomationDigital Twins and Smart ManufacturingPublish research papers in reputed SCI/Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences.Develop interdisciplinary research collaborations within and outside the University.Secure externally funded research projects from agencies such as DST, SERB, AICTE, DRDO, ISRO, MeitY, and industry partners.Laboratory DevelopmentEstablish and maintain advanced laboratories in robotics, automation, control systems, PLC/SCADA, industrial robotics, and embedded systems.Train students on industrial robots, robotic manipulators, autonomous mobile robots, and contemporary automation platforms.Promote experiential learning through hands-on laboratory activities.Industry CollaborationBuild collaborations with industries and research organizations.Facilitate internships, industrial training, consultancy, and sponsored projects.Organize expert lectures, workshops, faculty development programs, hackathons, and robotics competitions.Student MentoringMentor students for higher studies, entrepreneurship, research, and innovation.Guide teams participating in national and international competitions related to robotics and automation.Encourage patent filing, product development, and startup initiatives.Academic AdministrationParticipate in curriculum development, accreditation activities (NBA/NAAC), quality assurance, and departmental committees.Support admissions, examinations, outreach activities, and institutional development initiatives.Essential QualificationsPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control Engineering, or a closely related discipline only.
