Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 Murex Infrastructure Production Support.

Manage and monitor Murex application services, production servers, EOD processes and batch jobs.

Troubleshoot Murex application, infrastructure, connectivity and performance-related production issues.

Support Murex deployments, patches, upgrades and production releases.

Monitor EOD/BOD processing, identify failures and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Perform Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting for monitoring and automation.

Work with Oracle/SQL databases for production troubleshooting and analysis.

Monitor system resources including CPU, memory, disk space and application processes.





Perform Murex service start/stop/restart activities and investigate service failures.

Support connectivity and interfaces with upstream/downstream systems and market data feeds.

Coordinate with Murex vendor, application, database, network and infrastructure teams for production issue resolution.

Skills

Must have

7+ years of experience in Murex application support, with strong expertise in Back Office modules within a production support environment.

Strong understanding of trade lifecycle management, post-trade processing, settlements, and operational workflows across asset classes such as Commodities, Equities, and other OTC products.

Hands-on experience with Murex workflows, confirmations, settlements, payments, and accounting processes. Exposure to Datamart reporting and data analysis is highly desirable.

Solid proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and batch scheduling/monitoring tools.

Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis in business-critical environments.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to perform under pressure.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience interacting with business users, operations teams, and technology stakeholders.
