Applications are invited from Indian citizens for a Research Associate (RA) position

on a sponsored project in the Department of Mathematics at Indraprastha Institute of
Information Technology Delhi (IIIT-Delhi). The appointment is currently for seven months
and is extendable up to the total project duration of two years, subject to release of
subsequent project funds and satisfactory performance. The position is temporary and
tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification, experience and other

Project & Job Description Analyze and study cut loci of submanifolds inside classical manifolds and relate
it to Morse-Bott theoretic setup.

Candidates having research experience in differential topology, differential
geometry and algebraic topology will be preferred.

Qualifications Suitable candidates must have defended their thesis in Mathematics.
Candidates having research experience in differential and algebraic topology will
be preferred.





Age Limit Upper age limit: 32 years as on the day on which the application is made.

The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging
to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
