About the Role

NS Ventures is looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our finance team. The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, handling invoices and payments, and supporting GST, TDS, payroll, and reconciliation activities.

This is a great opportunity for someone with practical accounting experience and hands-on knowledge of Zoho Books.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial records.
- Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Prepare and process sales and purchase invoices.
- Maintain bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist with GST preparation, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Assist with TDS calculations, records, and compliance activities.
- Support monthly payroll processing, including salaries and incentives.
- Maintain petty cash and expense records.
- Track company expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payments.
- Follow up on customer outstanding payments and vendor dues.
- Reconcile accounts, invoices, bills, and financial records.
- Prepare basic MIS reports and financial summaries for management.
- Coordinate with internal teams, accountants, and external consultants.
- Maintain accurate and confidential financial records.
- Complete assigned tasks within deadlines.

Requirements

- 1.5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance.




- Hands-on experience with Zoho Books is mandatory.
- Good practical knowledge of AR, AP, GST, TDS, and invoicing.
- Experience with payroll and salary processing.
- Knowledge of expense management, reconciliation, and petty cash.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
