B.E./B.Tech / Diploma / MBA – Supply Chain or related field with 10 yrs of experience
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end purchase and procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and quality requirements.
- Prepare and manage RFQs, quotations, comparative statements, Purchase Orders (POs), and supplier documentation.
- Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and inventory requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and material quality.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, Accounts, and other departments for smooth procurement operations.
- Maintain proper purchase records and ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Develop alternate sources and support cost reduction and vendor development initiatives
