Hunter Marshall Outsourced Service is pleased to open applications for the position of Remote Accountant & Bookkeeper with a well-established and growing Irish Chartered Accountancy Practice.
Our client provides a wide range of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and taxation services to businesses across Ireland. As their client portfolio continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day financial operations of multiple clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely payroll processing and compliance with Irish Revenue requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with the client's accounting team, managing bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll and VAT while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and client service.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of Irish clients.
- Process accurate data entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain purchase, sales and general ledgers.
- Complete bank reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
- Perform customer, supplier and account reconciliations.
- Carry out data reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Process payroll using information received from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with Irish Revenue requirements.
- Maintain accurate financial documentation and supporting records.
- Assist with month-end and year-end bookkeeping activities.
- Liaise with the client's accounting team to resolve queries and provide financial information.
- Ensure compliance with client procedures and accounting best practices.
- Support additional finance and administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in bookkeeping or a similar accounting role.
- Robust experience with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Proven experience completing bank reconciliations.
- Solid bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accounting practice.
- Experience performing data reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
- Experience processing payroll from multiple data sources.
- Practical experience preparing and submitting Irish VAT returns.
- Experience using BrightBooks accounting software is essential.
- Experience working with Irish/UK accounting firms or Irish clients would be highly advantageous.

- Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with Irish Revenue requirements.
- Supporting accountants with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Working directly with an experienced Irish accounting team to deliver high-quality bookkeeping services.
- Contributing to efficient financial operations through accurate reporting, reconciliations and compliance.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
