Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Kubernetes / Container Platform Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, containerization, Linux, networking, storage, and CI/CD. The candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting containerized applications in enterprise and production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes platforms.
- Manage Kubernetes resources including Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Jobs/CronJobs, PV, PVC, and StorageClasses.
- Perform application scaling, rolling updates, rollbacks, and resource optimization.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Docker/OCI container images and Dockerfiles.
- Troubleshoot Kubernetes cluster and application issues, including CrashLoopBackOff, ImagePullBackOff, Pending/Failed Pods, scheduling, DNS, connectivity, resource exhaustion, and storage/PVC issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, Services, Ingress, RBAC, and Service Accounts.
- Monitor cluster and application health using logs, events, monitoring, and health-check mechanisms.
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated container build and deployment.
- Collaborate with development, database, middleware, and infrastructure teams for deployment and issue resolution.
- Maintain technical documentation related to deployments, configurations, troubleshooting,



and operational procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, services, ingress, storage, scaling, RBAC, HPA, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
- Strong practical knowledge of Docker/OCI containers, Dockerfiles, container images, registries, networking, and volumes.
- Good hands-on experience with Linux administration, shell commands, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports, load balancing, and Kubernetes networking.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
- Hands-on experience working in enterprise/production Kubernetes environments.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. / MCA / M.Sc. IT / Equivalent Qualification
