Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior SMT Sales Engineer to lead customer development, manage key accounts, and drive sales growth in the SMT, PCB Assembly and Electronics Manufacturing industry.

The candidate should have strong knowledge of SMT equipment, consumables, PCB assembly processes and technical sales, along with proven experience in customer handling and business development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop new customers in the SMT / PCB / EMS industry.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
- Identify current business opportunities and market potential.
- Visit customers and understand their technical and production requirements.
- Promote SMT equipment, consumables and related solutions.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals and sales presentations.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and customer meetings.
- Coordinate product trials and customer evaluations.
- Negotiate with customers and close sales opportunities.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, purchase orders and payments.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Coordinate with technical/service teams for installation, trials and customer support.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts and customer visit reports.
- Generate repeat business and increase customer account value.

Senior-Level Skills

- Strong SMT equipment sales knowledge.




- Strong knowledge of SMT Pick & Place Machines.
- Knowledge of Solder Paste Printers and Reflow Ovens.
- Knowledge of SPI / AOI and PCB inspection solutions.
- Strong understanding of PCB Assembly / EMS manufacturing processes.
- Strong knowledge of SMT consumables.
- Knowledge of Solder Paste, Solder Wire and Solder Bar.
- Knowledge of SMT Stencils and related products.
- Technical solution selling.
- New customer development.

- B2B sales and business development.
- Customer relationship management.
- Sales negotiation and order closure.
- Quotation and commercial handling.
- Market and competitor analysis.

Qualification

Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation or related engineering field.

Preferred Candidate

- 2–6 years of experience in SMT / PCB / Electronics / EMS sales.
- Proven experience in technical sales and business development.
- Strong customer network in the SMT / PCB / EMS industry preferred.
- Experience handling key accounts and large customers preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Target-oriented and customer-focused.
- Ability to independently manage the complete sales cycle.
- Willingness to travel for customer visits.
