Position: Mechanic (Skilled Technician)

Location: Rourkela, Odisha

Minimum Qualification

- Higher Secondary (+2) passed, or
- ITI Certificate in Mechanical, Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Machinist, Pump Mechanic, or related trade.

Minimum Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience in the operation and maintenance of:
- Water Treatment Plants (WTP)
- Pump Houses
- Water transmission and distribution piping systems

Key Responsibilities

- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps, motors, valves, pipelines, gearboxes, and other mechanical equipment.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Overhaul and align pumps and rotating equipment as per maintenance schedules.
- Inspect piping systems and rectify leakages, blockages, and mechanical defects.
- Assist in installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.




- Maintain maintenance records and report equipment performance issues.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and housekeeping requirements.
- Coordinate with operators and supervisors to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
