# Job Description – Laravel & PHP Developer

### About the Role

We are looking for a skilled **Laravel & PHP Developer** to develop, maintain, and optimize RiskBirbal’s web applications, CRM, internal systems, and insurance technology platforms.

### Key Responsibilities

* Develop and maintain web applications using **PHP and Laravel**.

* Build and integrate **REST APIs** and third-party APIs.

* Develop backend modules for **CRM, WellConnect, and internal applications**.

* Work with **MySQL** databases, including queries, relationships, migrations, and optimization.

* Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing applications.

* Implement authentication, authorization, validations, and security best practices.

* Collaborate with the **IT, Product, and Business teams** to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

* Perform testing, bug fixing, and production support.

* Maintain clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

* Use **Git/GitHub** for version control and participate in deployment activities.

### Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of **Core PHP and Laravel**.

* Experience with **Laravel MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM,



Middleware, Routes, Controllers, and Migrations**.

* Good knowledge of **MySQL**.

* Experience in **REST API development and integration**.

* Knowledge of **HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery**.

* Familiarity with **Postman** for API testing.

* Knowledge of **Git/GitHub**.

* Basic understanding of **Linux/SSH and server deployment**.

* Experience with **aaPanel/cPanel** will be an advantage.

* Good debugging and problem-solving skills.

### Preferred

* Experience with **CodeIgniter 3/4 or Core PHP projects**.

* Experience working with **insurance, CRM, ERP, or financial applications**.

* Knowledge of third-party API integrations and payment/notification APIs.

* Understanding of application security and database optimization.

### Qualification

**B.Tech/B.E. (CS/IT), MCA, BCA, or equivalent qualification.**
