Key Responsibilities

- Plan, supervise, and control all security operations at the manufacturing unit, including gate entry/exit, visitor management, vehicle movement, and material in/out gate passes.
- Enforce plant safety protocols in line with the Factories Act, 1948, and applicable state Factory Rules, GMP/FSSAI norms, and internal SOPs.
- Conduct daily security rounds and safety inspections of production floors, warehouses, utility areas, and perimeter boundaries; identify and report hazards or breaches.
- Lead fire safety management — inspection and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarm systems, and coordination of periodic fire drills and mock evacuation exercises.
- Supervise and train the security guard workforce (in-house and outsourced/contract) on duty protocols, discipline, and emergency response procedures.
- Investigate incidents of theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, or safety violations; prepare incident reports and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
- Coordinate with local police, fire department, and other statutory/emergency authorities as required.
- Maintain CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and security registers/logbooks; ensure timely reporting of anomalies to management.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for contractor and visitor entry, material movement, and after-hours plant access.
- Support the HR & Admin department in conducting safety training, toolbox talks,



and induction briefings for new employees and contract workers.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety documentation, licenses, and audit requirements (internal, customer, and third-party safety audits).
- Manage crisis response and business continuity procedures during emergencies such as fire, theft, sabotage, or natural calamities.

. Candidate Profile

- Age: 45 years and above.
- Ex-servicemen from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, or Paramilitary Forces strongly preferred, given the discipline, crisis-management training, and leadership orientation required for this role.
- Minimum 10–15 years of relevant experience in security and safety management, preferably within a manufacturing, FMCG, or food processing environment.
- Sound working knowledge of fire safety systems, industrial security practices, and statutory compliance under the Factories Act and related labour legislation.
- Physically fit, disciplined, and capable of managing rotational/night shift duties.
- Robust leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to train and manage a security workforce.
- Good communication skills in Kannada, Hindi, and English (working proficiency).
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital logs, incident reports, and MIS (proficiency in tools such as factoHR or equivalent HRMS is an advantage).

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
