Job Description – Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Position: Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
Department: Hospital / Clinical Services
Location: Mumbai
Experience: 0–3 Years

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct initial patient assessments and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.
- Attend to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate management.
- Coordinate with Consultants, Specialists, Nursing Staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Review and implement treatment plans as advised by Consultants.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records, progress notes, and documentation.
- Ensure timely investigations, follow-ups, and communication of critical results.
- Handle admissions, transfers, discharges, and routine clinical procedures.
- Monitor patients post-procedure and identify any deterioration requiring immediate attention.




- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection-control practices, and patient-safety standards.

Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Valid registration with the respective State Medical Council (MMC)
- RMO / Hospital experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night duties.
