Experience in Vehicle PDI, Export market quality requirements, defect root cause analysis, process improvements & maintaining customer satisfaction for global export markets. Hands on experience of Vehicles Logistic Process, challenges, & improvements required.
Nature of Work
- Conduct quality inspection of vehicles before export dispatch.
- Verify vehicle compliance with customer specifications & destination country requirements.
- Identify, analyze and report daily defects and non-conformities.
- Coordination with Production, suppliers, and logistics teams for defect rectifications.
- Monitor Pre Delivery Inspection activities and ensure vehicle readiness for export.
- Analyze field and shipment related quality issues and implement corrective & preventive actions.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports and defect trend data.
- Support continuous improvements initiatives to enhance Product Quality, Process Quality & Customer satisfaction.
- Ensure secure handling & prevention of vehicles during storage, yard operations & vehicle handling.
- Handle vehicle inspection at port including yard and vessel locations.
- Handle repair projects to support shipments.
- Coordinate with all plant departments for defect control.
- Handle transit defects transported through Trailer, Auto-wagon, and Container.

Competencies/ Skills
Good knowledge of Vehicle systems and automotive engineering.
Ability to set up capable processes & identify improvement points.
Defect analysis capability for resolving quality problems.
Exposure in Quality systems (ISO/TS/IATF).
Working Knowledge of inspection aids & measurement equipment.
Knowledge of Process improvement methodologies (Kaizen / Lean / Six Sigma).
Effective communication & MS Excel knowledge.
Other Requirements
Computer proficiency for documentation and reporting.
