Job Summary
Lere Academy is looking for a skilled and passionate Online German Language Trainer with C1–C2 level German proficiency to join our academic team.
The ideal candidate should have excellent German communication skills and the ability to conduct engaging and effective online German language classes for students preparing for academic, professional, and international opportunities.
C1–C2 German proficiency is compulsory for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and interactive online German language classes.
- Teach German language skills including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary.
- Prepare structured lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Help students improve their German fluency, pronunciation, and communication skills.
- Prepare students for German language examinations such as Goethe, TELC, and ÖSD.
- Conduct regular assessments, mock tests, and practice sessions.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Provide individual support and guidance to students when required.
- Maintain a professional and interactive online learning environment.
- Coordinate with the academic team regarding student performance and class requirements.
Requirements
- C1 or C2 level German proficiency is MANDATORY.
- Previous experience as a German Language Trainer is preferred.
- Excellent spoken and written German communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of advanced German grammar and vocabulary.
- Experience teaching C1/C2-level students is an added advantage.
- Experience in Goethe, TELC, ÖSD, or other German exam preparation is preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct skilled and engaging online classes.
- Good internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.
Preferred Qualifications
- C1/C2 German language certification.
- Teaching certification or relevant academic qualification.
- Experience in preparing students for German language examinations.
- Experience teaching students who are planning to study, work, or settle in German-speaking countries.
