Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with solid expertise in project planning, P&L; management, production accounting, budgeting, and cost control. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and monitoring project budgets, analyzing project-wise profitability, tracking production costs and expenses, and preparing monthly Profit & Loss (P&L;) statements. The role involves coordinating with project, production, procurement, and management teams to monitor financial performance, identify cost variances, and ensure effective utilization of resources. The candidate should also handle MIS reporting, cash-flow monitoring, cost forecasting, financial reconciliation, and provide management with accurate financial insights for project and production-related decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and monitor project-wise budgets, costing, and financial plans.
- Prepare and analyze monthly P&L; and project profitability reports.
- Monitor production costs, material consumption, labour costs, and overheads.




- Compare actual expenses against budgets and identify cost variances.
- Support project planning and cost forecasting.
- Prepare MIS reports for management on project and production performance.
- Coordinate with Project, Production, Procurement, and Commercial teams.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and project-related payments.
- Ensure proper accounting, reconciliation, and documentation of project transactions.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve profitability and cost efficiency.

Preferred Qualification:
B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or equivalent, with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, marine, oil & gas, or project-based industries. Strong knowledge of Tally/ERP, MS Excel, project costing, P&L; analysis, and MIS reporting is preferred.
