Position - Support Consultant – Plant & Machinery

Role Overview

Nway Technologies is looking for a Support Consultant – Plant & Machinery with good knowledge of construction industry processes and Plant & Machinery operations.

The candidate will be responsible for providing functional and post-implementation support for the Plant & Machinery module, understanding client requirements, resolving functional issues, assisting users, and ensuring effective utilization of the Construction ERP.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlant & Machinery Support

- Provide functional support for the Plant & Machinery module.
- Understand and support machinery management processes followed by construction companies.
- Handle processes related to machine allocation, utilization, fuel, maintenance, breakdowns, and operational tracking.
- Resolve user queries and functional issues.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams for timely issue resolution.

Client & User Support

- Understand client requirements and business processes.
- Provide user guidance and support during implementation and post-Go-Live.




- Conduct user training and explain ERP processes.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements.

ERP & Functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Product, Development, QA, and Business Analyst teams.
- Analyze functional issues and clearly communicate requirements to the technical team.
- Assist in testing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Validate fixes and new functionality before deployment.
- Prepare functional documentation and user guides.

Key Plant & Machinery Processes

The candidate should have an understanding of:

- Plant & Machinery Master
- Equipment / Asset Registration
- Site-wise Machinery Allocation
- Machine Utilization & Running Hours
- Hour Meter / KM Tracking
- Fuel Management
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
- Spare Parts Management
- Equipment Transfer Between Sites
- Equipment Rental Management
- Maintenance Cost Tracking
- Machinery Cost & Utilization Reports

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of experience in ERP support, implementation, or construction-domain operations.
- Strong understanding of Plant & Machinery processes.
- Experience with Construction ERP / Project ERP will be preferred.
- Good understanding of construction site operations.
- Ability to understand client requirements and resolve functional issues.
- Positive communication and client-handling skills.
- Basic SQL/database knowledge will be an added advantage.

Preferred Industry Experience

Candidates from Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Mining, RMC, Crusher, Transport industries with Plant & Machinery exposure will be preferred.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
