Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Logistics with 9+ years of relevant experience specifically within the Tobacco industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, warehousing, distribution, inventory movement and logistics process optimization.

The candidate will act as a subject matter expert and provide operational and process expertise across logistics functions within the tobacco business.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide subject matter expertise in Tobacco industry logistics and supply chain operations.
- Manage and provide expertise in inbound and outbound logistics.
- Oversee and optimize transportation, warehousing and distribution operations.
- Drive logistics process improvement, operational efficiency and cost optimization.
- Analyze logistics processes and identify gaps, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement logistics SOPs, processes and best practices.
- Monitor logistics KPIs and operational performance.
- Provide recommendations for improving transportation, warehouse and distribution efficiency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide logistics solutions.
- Support logistics transformation,



process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- Provide insights based on Tobacco industry logistics practices and requirements.
- Ensure productive movement, storage and distribution of tobacco products.
- Support stakeholders with logistics-related analysis, problem-solving and decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

- 9+ years of experience in Logistics / Supply Chain.
- Mandatory: Relevant experience in the Tobacco industry.
- Strong experience in inbound & outbound logistics.
- Hands-on experience in transportation, warehousing and distribution.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end logistics operations.
- Experience in logistics process improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience handling logistics operations related to tobacco products / cigarettes / tobacco manufacturing or distribution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and senior stakeholders.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
