About the Role

Warade PackTech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in packaging machine design, SPM development, and 3D modeling using Solid Edge.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative packaging automation projects from concept development to machine commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop 3D/2D mechanical components and assemblies for packaging automation systems.
- Work on Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) with strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and material selection.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) in SAP.
- Collaborate closely with production, electrical, and project teams to deliver cost-effective and high-quality engineering solutions.
- Support machine testing, troubleshooting, and continuous design improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E.



/ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering.
- 4–5 years of experience in packaging machinery, automation systems, or SPM design.
- Proficiency in Solid Edge (knowledge of SolidWorks and AutoCAD is an added advantage).
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, machine assemblies, and design standards.
- Good analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with prior experience in the packaging machinery or industrial automation industry will be preferred.
