Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Manager to oversee the complete lifecycle of solar power plant projects exceeding 2 MW. This role demands strong expertise in front-end techno-commercial evaluation, detailed cost estimation, site feasibility, and hands-on management of erection, testing, and commissioning activities to ensure seamless grid integration and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

· Pre-Construction & Feasibility Analysis: Perform technical feasibility studies, solar resource assessments, site surveys, and risk evaluations for proposed plant locations above 2 MW.

· Estimation & Techno-Commercial Proposals: Prepare accurate engineering cost estimations, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and comprehensive techno-commercial proposals for clients.

· Erection & Construction Management: Direct in office civil, structural, and electrical erection work, ensuring strict compliance with engineering drawings, structural layouts, and safety protocols.

· Testing & Commissioning (T&C;): Lead factory acceptance testing (FAT), site acceptance testing (SAT), cold/hot commissioning, grid-synchronization procedures,



and performance ratio (PR) testing.

· Project Planning & Progress Tracking: Develop baseline project schedules (WBS), track milestones, manage project budgets, and implement corrective measures for schedule variances.

Required Qualifications & Skills

· Education: B.Tech / M.Tech

· Experience: 3+ years of direct project management experience in solar power projects, with a track record of completing projects above 2 MW.

· Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of solar PV modules, central/string inverters, SCADA systems, transformers, switchyards, and HT transmission lines.

· Site Execution: Hands-on experience with ground-mounted or large-scale commercial rooftop erection, DC/AC cabling, earthing, and lightning protection.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
