Job Summary

We are seeking for a skilled and patient-focused Cosmetic Surgeon & Hair Transplant Specialist to join our team. The specialist will be responsible for evaluating patients, recommending appropriate cosmetic and hair restoration treatments, performing surgical and non-surgical procedures, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care.

The ideal candidate should possess solid surgical expertise, an aesthetic eye, excellent patient communication skills, and a commitment to delivering safe, natural-looking and evidence-based outcomes.

Key Responsibilities for Cosmetic & Aesthetic Surgery

- Consult and evaluate patients seeking cosmetic and aesthetic procedures.
- Understand patient expectations and recommend appropriate treatment options.
- Perform cosmetic surgical procedures within the candidate's qualifications, training and scope of practice.
- Provide non-surgical aesthetic treatments where appropriately trained and credentialed.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, patient expectations and safety considerations.
- Explain expected outcomes, limitations, potential complications, recovery timelines and alternative treatment options.
- Ensure proper informed consent and clinical documentation before procedures.
- Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care.
- Identify and manage procedure-related complications promptly and appropriately.

Hair Transplantation & Hair Restoration

- Evaluate patients presenting with hair loss, thinning hair and pattern baldness.
- Diagnose common causes and patterns of hair loss and determine suitability for hair transplantation.
- Perform hair transplant procedures using techniques such as FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)



and other clinically appropriate methods within the specialist's training.
- Assess donor areas and plan hairlines, graft distribution and overall transplant strategy.
- Determine approximate graft requirements based on individual patient needs.
- Supervise and coordinate with hair transplant technicians and supporting clinical staff during procedures.
- Provide appropriate medical and non-surgical hair restoration recommendations when indicated.
- Counsel patients regarding realistic expectations, post-transplant hair growth and long-term maintenance.
- Conduct regular follow-up consultations and monitor transplant outcomes.

Patient Consultation & Counselling

- Conduct detailed consultations and clinical assessments.
- Review relevant medical history, medications, allergies and contraindications.
- Educate patients about available procedures and help them make informed decisions.
- Maintain ethical counselling practices without creating unrealistic expectations.
- Build patient confidence through clear, professional and empathetic communication.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate patient records, procedure notes, consent documentation and follow-up records.
- Follow established infection-control, sterilization and patient-safety protocols.
- Ensure procedures are performed in accordance with applicable medical regulations and institutional policies.
- Coordinate with dermatologists, anesthesiologists, nurses, technicians and other specialists whenever required.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement activities and patient-safety initiatives.




- Stay updated with advances in cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine and hair restoration techniques.

Qualifications

- MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
- Appropriate postgraduate surgical qualification and specialist training relevant to cosmetic/plastic surgery and hair transplantation.
- MD/DNB Dermatology will be given a preference
- MCh / DNB plastic surgery will be given a higher priority
- Valid medical registration with Tamil Nadu state medical council / regulatory authority.
- Formal training and demonstrated competency in hair transplantation techniques such as FUE.
- Additional fellowship/certification in aesthetic or hair restoration procedures is desirable, subject to applicable regulations and scope-of-practice requirements.Experience
- Previous experience in cosmetic/aesthetic surgery and hair restoration is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in hair transplant procedures, particularly FUE, is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to independently assess, plan and manage appropriate cosmetic and hair restoration cases

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
