Job Summary

We are a leading marine company looking for an energetic and organized Crewing Officer to manage our vessel manning operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in maritime crewing, exceptional communication skills to interface with foreign clients, and solid computer literacy. You will play a key role in coordinating crew recruitment, logistics, and compliance while maintaining high service standards for our international partners.

Key Responsibilities

International Client Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for foreign ship owners, operators, and managers; attend to their requirements and provide regular crewing updates.

Crew Recruitment & Deployment: Source, screen, and select qualified seafarers for various vessel types according to client matrices.

Documentation & Compliance: Verify and process STCW certificates, passports, visas, CDC, medical certificates, and flag state documentation.

Travel & Logistics: Coordinate cost-effective crew travel, flight bookings, hotel accommodations, and port agency arrangements.





Data Management: Utilize crewing software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) to maintain accurate, up-to-date crew databases and digital personnel files.

Emergency Support: Handle urgent crew changes, medical emergencies, and logistical challenges efficiently under pressure.

Required Qualifications & SkillsExperience: Minimum 1+ years of experience working as a Crewing Executive, Crewing Officer, or Crewing Assistant in a shipping or manning agency.

Language Proficiency: Excellent English speaking and writing skills are mandatory for communicating with international clients and multinational crews.

Computer Skills: High proficiency in computer operations, including MS Office (especially Excel), emails, and familiarity with marine crewing software.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of MLC 2006, STCW regulations, and flag state requirements.

Traits: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
