We are seeking an Urban Planner to work on medium- to large-scale statutory and non-statutory projects across wide-ranging geographies, within the framework of relevant Acts and regulations. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with public officials, civic leaders, and land developers, contributing to land-use strategies and development frameworks through research, analysis, and public engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, consolidate, and analyse statistical data, reports, maps, census information, land use, transportation, and physical and social infrastructure.
- Organise and oversee on-site surveys and investigations to assess existing land use and socioeconomic conditions.
- Prepare visual presentations, drawings, and comprehensive reports in both graphical and written formats.
- Formulate and present detailed reports on development proposals to government authorities.
- Conduct research on strategies and policies applicable to project locations worldwide Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams and external consultants.
- Engage with the public, government officials, and other stakeholders throughout the project.
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning (required)
Experience:
- Up to 3 years in an urban planning practice
Skills (Mandatory):
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and MS Office.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to take initiative and drive projects through their entire lifecycle.
- Effective time and priority management.
Skills (Preferred):
- Familiarity with Civil 3D.
- Theoretical knowledge or practical experience in urban planning and modelling.
