Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced MS Dynamics CRM Developer with 7–10 years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM / Power Platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Model-Driven Apps, customizations, Plugins, JavaScript, Power Automate, and other Dynamics 365 capabilities.

The candidate should be comfortable working on complex business scenarios, troubleshooting issues, and taking a configuration-first approach to solution design.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills

- Model-Driven App Development

- Hands-on experience developing and customizing Model-Driven Apps.
- Understanding of forms, views, business rules, business process flows, commands, and app configuration.

- Dataverse / Entities – Basics

- Strong understanding of Dataverse and tables/entities.
- Knowledge of relationships, columns/fields, choices, keys, ownership, and security concepts.

- Customization

- Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM customization and configuration.
- Ability to implement business requirements using out-of-the-box (OOB) capabilities wherever possible.

- Plugins

- Hands-on experience developing, registering, debugging, and troubleshooting Dynamics 365 Plugins.
- Understanding of plugin execution pipeline, stages, images, context, and synchronous/asynchronous execution.

- JavaScript

- Strong experience with client-side scripting for Dynamics 365.
- Experience working with form events, field validation, Web API, and custom client-side functionality.

- Power Automate

- Hands-on experience developing cloud flows using Power Automate.
- Knowledge of triggers, actions, expressions, error handling, approvals, integrations, and troubleshooting.

- OOB Feature Exposure

- Positive understanding of standard Dynamics 365 CRM capabilities.




- Ability to evaluate requirements and determine whether they can be addressed through OOB functionality before opting for custom development.

- Configuration-Based Approach

- Strong preference for configuration over customization where feasible.
- Ability to design scalable and maintainable solutions using standard Power Platform/Dynamics 365 capabilities.

- Scenario-Based Problem Solving

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business scenarios, identify appropriate Dynamics 365/Power Platform features, and explain the thought process behind technical decisions.

- Troubleshooting

- Experience diagnosing and resolving issues across Model-Driven Apps, Plugins, JavaScript, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Ability to analyze logs, errors, execution behavior, and dependencies to identify root causes.

- Canvas Apps

- Hands-on or working knowledge of Canvas App development.
- Understanding of controls, formulas, data sources, connectors, and integration with Dataverse.

- Custom Pages

- Experience creating and integrating Custom Pages within Model-Driven Apps.
- Understanding of scenarios where Custom Pages can provide tailored user experiences.

- Power Pages

- Good understanding of Power Pages and its integration with Dataverse.
- Exposure to configuration, authentication/security, permissions, and customization.

Good to Have

- Experience with Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
- Exposure to developing and deploying custom PCF controls.
- Understanding of ALM, solutions, environments, and deployment practices in Power Platform.
