Geeken Chemicals India Limited is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Executive – QC Chemist with solid hands-on experience in Agrochemical / Crop Protection / Pesticides Formulation Plant.

ONLY candidates with relevant QC experience in AGROCHEMICAL / CROP PROTECTION / PESTICIDES FORMULATION PLANTS should apply.

Candidates from Pharma, FMCG, Food, Textile, General Chemical or other unrelated industries will NOT be considered.

IMMEDIATE JOINERS PREFERREDKEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform quality testing and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and finished agrochemical formulations.
- Conduct physical and chemical analysis as per approved specifications, SOPs and test methods.
- Perform testing of agrochemical formulations such as EC, SC, SL, WP, WG, WDG, etc.
- Handle laboratory instruments such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, pH Meter, Karl Fischer, Density Meter, Viscometer, etc.
- Conduct assay, purity, moisture, pH, density, viscosity and formulation-specific quality tests.
- Ensure finished products comply with approved specifications and quality standards before release.
- Prepare and maintain test reports, COA, laboratory records and analytical documentation.
- Follow GLP, laboratory SOPs,



safety procedures and quality systems.
- Investigate OOS/OOT results and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, R&D; and Regulatory teams regarding quality-related issues.
- Support method validation, method development and analytical troubleshooting.
- Ensure proper calibration, maintenance and handling of laboratory instruments.
- Maintain laboratory discipline, documentation and good housekeeping standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QC processes, testing methods and product quality.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

✅ Mandatory: Relevant experience in Agrochemical / Crop Protection / Pesticides industry
✅ Strong practical knowledge of QC activities in an Agrochemical Formulation Plant
✅ Good knowledge of agrochemical formulation testing and analysis
✅ Hands-on knowledge of HPLC, GC, UV-Vis and other QC laboratory instruments preferred
✅ Knowledge of GLP, SOPs, COA, OOS/OOT and analytical documentation
✅ Good understanding of quality standards, specifications and laboratory safety
✅ Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
✅ B.Sc. / M.Sc. Chemistry or relevant qualification
✅ Candidates with strong practical laboratory knowledge and formulation testing experience will be preferred
