Job Title: Civil Structural DraftsmanJob Summary

A Civil Structural Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings and plans based on engineering designs, specifications, and calculations. The role involves close coordination with structural engineers and architects to ensure accurate and code-compliant drawings for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed structural drawings (RCC, steel, and foundation) using CAD software.
- Convert design calculations and sketches into working drawings.
- Draft GA (General Arrangement) drawings, reinforcement detailing, bar bending schedules (BBS), etc.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes (e.g., IS Codes, IRC, NBC).
- Revise drawings based on engineer/client feedback.
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.
- Coordinate with site engineers for as-built drawings.
- Check dimensions, quantities, and specifications for accuracy.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- Knowledge of STAAD / ETABS drawings (basic understanding)




- Strong understanding of:
- RCC detailing
- Structural components (beam, slab, column, footing)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of Indian standards (IS codes).
- Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering or Draftsmanship
- 2–5 years of experience in structural drafting (preferred)

Preferred Skills

- Experience in CAD
- Knowledge of quantity takeoff & estimation
- Experience with infrastructure projects (bridges, buildings, etc.)

Work Workplace

- Office-based with coordination with site teams
- May involve deadlines based on project timelines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
