Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join Gravitiq’s in-house legal function across our portfolio of brands. This is a mid-level, remote and hands-on role with significant growth potential, reporting to the Head of Legal.

As part of the legal function, you will act as a trusted commercial advisor to the business (specifically the brand, retail and product teams, supply chain and regulatory), and manage relationships with external counsel as Gravitiq scales across new products, channels, and geographies.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and taking ownership across a broad legal remit.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation with precision, provide insightful legal advice on a broad spectrum of commercial matters, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support product development, market and retail expansion, advertising and marketing campaigns, online promotions and strategic partnerships.

What you’ll be doing:

● Legal Advisory

○ Act as legal support for Gravitiq and its portfolio brands, supporting marketing, e-commerce, product development, supply chain, and retail expansion.

○ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, brand and creative teams to provide proactive advice to new product launches, line extensions, market expansion and advertising campaigns and marketing initiatives.





○ Provide legal advice on general company legal matters, regulatory compliance and risk management across the group and its core markets (US, Canada, UK and Europe).

○ Advise on legal risks and assist with the development of strategies to mitigate potential regulatory and legal issues.

○ Work closely with the Head of Legal to deliver key company initiatives.

● Commercial & Contracting

○ Assist with commercial contracting across manufacturing, suppliers, logistics, agencies, distributors, and strategic partners.

○ Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements including NDAs, MSAs, manufacturing agreements, quality agreements, partnership and sponsorship agreements, influencer contracts, retail broker contracts, and other commercial arrangements.

○ Advise the brand team on influencer terms and marketing/advertising language and related agreements to support promoting initiatives.

● IP Portfolio

○ Assist with building and managing Gravitiq’s global intellectual property portfolio including trademarks, brand protection, and IP enforcement across multiple jurisdictions.

○ Assist Head of Legal with developing Gravitiq’s IP strategy.

○ Assist on IP infringement matters, disputes, and enforcement actions, working closely with the Head of Legal and external counsel where required.

● Legal Updates/Support

○ Together with the legal team, stay updated on changes in the global legal workplace, emerging trends, and new developments specific to our products/ business.





○ Interpret and communicate relevant legal updates to the team and ensure timely implementation of any necessary changes affecting our products/ business.

○ Assist Head of Legal to develop the legal team – e.g. develop templates, group-wide policies, administer training to business teams etc.

What you’ll bring into the table:

● Law degree from an accredited law school

● Completed legal training at a top law firm

● 4 years post-qualification experience

● Experience working in-house at an international company (ideally in a consumer-facing or retail business)

● Strong understanding of international legal authorities & frameworks

● Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills

● Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

● High attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
