About the Role

Ocean Sky Logistics is looking for an experienced, ambitious and result-driven Air & Sea Freight Forwarding Sales Manager to lead business development and generate new customers for our international freight forwarding services.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Air Freight and Sea Freight Import & Export sales, customer acquisition, business development and relationship management within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing key customer relationships, achieving sales targets and working closely with the Pricing and Operations teams to deliver competitive and reliable logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate new business for Air Freight & Sea Freight Import and Export services.
- Develop and execute effective sales and business development strategies.
- Identify and approach potential Importers, Exporters, Manufacturers, Traders and Corporate Customers.
- Generate new sales leads through customer visits, networking, referrals, LinkedIn, email and other business development activities.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with customers.
- Meet prospective and existing customers to understand their freight forwarding requirements.
- Coordinate with the Pricing team to obtain competitive Air and Sea Freight quotations.
- Prepare, present and follow up on quotations and commercial proposals.
- Negotiate commercial terms and convert enquiries into profitable business.
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop new customer accounts and increase business from existing customers.
- Identify opportunities for Air Freight, Sea Freight, FCL, LCL, Import and Export services.




- Maintain regular follow-up with prospects, customers and business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Air Freight, Sea Freight, Pricing, Operations and Customer Service teams.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed shipments to the Operations team.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer meetings, quotations and sales activities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and business development updates for management.

- Indian Freight Forwarder
- E-commerce Businesses

- Existing and Potential B2B Customers
- Overseas Freight Forwarders and Logistics Partners

Required Experience & Qualifications

Candidates should have:

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Freight Forwarding Sales or Business Development.
- Strong experience in Air Freight and Sea Freight Import & Export sales.
- Proven ability to generate new business independently.
- Experience in acquiring and managing B2B customers.
- Good knowledge of international freight forwarding services and processes.
- Understanding of Air Freight, Sea Freight, FCL, LCL, Import and Export services.
- Experience in preparing and following up on freight quotations.
- Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable logistics solutions.
- An existing network of importers,



exporters or corporate customers will be an advantage.
- Graduate degree/diploma in a relevant field will be preferred.
