Job Summary

We are looking for skilled person who has positive hands-on experience in fabrication and welding work and can handle the job independently. Current requirements for TIG and Laser Welder to carry out sheet metal welding works in commercial kitchen equipments and products. The welder must follow approved WPS, maintain quality as per ASME standards, and help reduce weld repair.

Key Responsibilities

- Strong understanding of Sheetmetal fabrication process including cutting, bending, forming and welding.
- Operate Tig/ Laser welding machines as per standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Proficiency with measurement tools and equipment.
- Can develop independently Jigs and Fixture as per Job requirements
- Ensure proper joint preparation, fit-up, root pass and finishing as per drawing.
- Perform basic machine checks before starting the shift.
- Identify welding defects and inform the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain cleanliness and 5S in the welding work area.
- Follow safety norms and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist in minor troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
- Maintain daily production and inspection records.
- Support preventive maintenance activities as instructed.




- Should have knowledge in reading engineering drawings
- Should know to read and handle fabrication and welding work properly
- Must maintain welding quality and follow safety procedures during work
- Should be responsible, punctual, and capable of completing work independently

Safety & Discipline

- Use proper PPE and safety practices during welding.
- Maintain welding machines, cables and consumables properly.
- Keep work area clean and safe.

Qualification

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in sheet metal fabrication will be preferred.
- 3G / 4G / 6G welding experience and with welder certificate is an advantage.
- Proficiency with measurement tools and equipment.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and SOPs
- Attention to detail and quality focus
- Willingness to work in shifts

Note: Candidates in and around Sholavaram/Redhills/Puzhal/Minjur will be given first preference.
