Senior Design Engineer

Gangaa Machines, a manufacturer and exporter of welding electrode manufacturing plants and machinery, is looking for an experienced Senior Design Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop industrial machinery using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 3D models, assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, and engineering standards.
- Develop new machine designs and improve existing machinery.
- Perform machine design calculations and component selection.
- Work closely with Production, Fabrication, Machining, Assembly, and Quality teams.
- Support new product development and resolve design-related manufacturing issues.
- Prepare and maintain BOMs, drawings, and design documentation.
Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of GD&T; and Machine Design.
- Valuable knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
- Experience in industrial machinery or special-purpose machine design preferred.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Candidate Profile
- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 5–8 years of relevant mechanical design experience.
- Ability to independently handle design projects from concept to manufacturing.
- Must be responsible, result-oriented, and able to complete tasks within committed timelines.
- Willingness to work closely with the shop floor and production team.
Salary
₹25,000 – ₹45,000 per month, based on experience and technical competency.
