QUANTITY SURVEYOR – BUILDERS

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to handle quantity estimation, BOQ, costing, material planning, billing, and cost monitoring for residential and commercial building projects.

The candidate will coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure accurate quantities, effective cost management, and smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare BOQs for residential and commercial building projects.
- Take quantities from architectural and structural drawings.
- Calculate quantities for concrete, reinforcement steel, masonry, plastering, flooring, painting, waterproofing, and other building works.
- Prepare material estimates and project cost calculations.
- Conduct rate analysis and maintain item-wise rates.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Coordinate with site teams to verify measurements.
- Monitor BOQ quantities against actual work completed.
- Prepare variation, additional-work, and deduction statements.
- Check contractor and subcontractor bills.
- Verify measurements, quantities, rates,



and invoice calculations.
- Maintain project quantity, material, and cost records.
- Assist in tender and quotation preparation.
- Prepare cost comparison and quantity reports.
- Support management with project cost and material planning.

Requirements

- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Freshers & experienced candidates are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of building construction and materials.
- Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Knowledge of BOQ, estimation, costing, billing, and rate analysis.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
- AutoCAD or quantity-surveying software knowledge is an advantage.
