We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our lighting showroom. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of lighting products, retail sales, inventory management, and customer handling.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the lighting industry is preferred. Candidates with relevant experience in building materials, electrical products, interiors, or related retail sectors may also be considered.

The candidate should be capable of leading a team, handling customers professionally, driving showroom sales, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the overall day-to-day operations of the lighting showroom.

* Handle walk-in customers and understand their lighting requirements.

* Provide product information and assist customers in selecting suitable lighting solutions.

* Drive showroom sales and achieve monthly sales targets.

* Manage and supervise showroom staff and allocate daily responsibilities.

* Maintain proper stock levels and coordinate with the purchase/store team for replenishment.

* Monitor stock movement, inward and outward materials, and ensure accurate inventory records.

* Ensure the showroom is properly displayed, organized, clean, and presentable.

* Coordinate with sales, purchase, accounts, and management teams for smooth operations.

* Follow up on customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and pending payments when required.

* Build and maintain good relationships with customers, contractors, interior designers, architects, and other clients.

* Handle customer complaints and coordinate with the concerned team for timely resolution.

* Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.





* Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and store reports to management.

* Ensure company policies, procedures, and sales processes are properly followed.

* Take responsibility for the overall performance and discipline of the showroom team.

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.

* Experience in the lighting industry is preferred.

* Candidates with experience in building materials, electrical products, interiors, hardware, or related retail sectors may also apply.

* Strong knowledge of retail sales and customer handling.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.

* Good understanding of inventory and stock management.

* Target-oriented with a robust focus on achieving sales results.

* Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with billing/inventory software is preferred.

* Ability to prepare basic sales and stock reports.

Salary

₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per month, depending on experience, skills, and industry knowledge.
